C&L Aerospace has signed an agreement with Thomas Global Systems to distribute its TFD-8601 upgrade solution for legacy EFD-86 CRT displays. The solution is available in many regional and business jet aircraft types including the Saab 340, EMB 120, Challenger CL600 series, Falcon 10/50/20/100, Gulfstream/Astra 1125 and Hawker 800.

The display is a true plug-and-play system for existing CRT units, allowing operators to perform an instant conversion with no changes to cockpit panels or wiring. The display leverages Thomas Global's latest in-house innovation in analogue to digital signal conversion allowing for the LCD retrofit.

“Thomas Global is a premier manufacturer of aviation electronic systems, and we are excited to provide CRT display solutions and long-term value to our customers on both the regional and corporate side of aviation,” says Martin Cooper, senior VP of sales at C&L Aerospace. “We are honoured that Thomas Global has selected us as a valued partner ensuring that airlines, MROs and corporate operators worldwide have access to their products.”
