European Skytime lifts Learjet acquisitions to eight
Gloucestershire's European Skytime is acquiring six more Learjets and plans to base them in London to meet rising demand in the U.K. capital. The new order, for three 40XRs, three 45XRs and two 60XRs follows a recent earlier order for a 40XR and a 45XR.

Gloucestershire's European Skytime is acquiring six more Learjets and plans to base them in London to meet rising demand in the U.K. capital. The new order, for three 40XRs, three 45XRs and two 60XRs follows a recent earlier order for a 40XR and a 45XR.

Steve Westlake, md, says the European block charter operator likes Learjets because of their fuel efficiency, speed, range and comfortable cabins. "A limited number of fractional shares, offering 50 and 100 hour blocks, will be available for purchase on this new fleet." The European Skytime fleet already includes Learjet 31, 45 and 60 and the Challenger 604.

Westlake says: "We are building for the future with plans to offer the entire Learjet aircraft product line. We want to ensure that clients have the widest possible choice."
