Bob Berry, managing director of the Pilatus PC-12 centres, said: "It's the practicality of the PC-12 that appeals and makes it a clever alternative to the average corporate jet.

"Its superb performance and long range are matched by very useful design elements that incorporate a huge cargo door and an integral lavatory. Most of our corporate owners find that they can use the PC-12 for leisure as well as for business travel."

The UK and Spanish PC-12 centres are Europe's top selling distributors of the aircraft.
