Thinking Food caters for Luton Airport’s tastes
Thinking Food, together with US partner Air Chef, is planning to develop a contemporary kitchen and dedicated crew lounge at Luton Airport, UK. An increase in demand for its services encouraged the Biggin Hill-based company to acquire Luton’s Majestic Catering. “With the opening of the new kitchen by mid-Summer, clients have a team of professionals in a state-of-the art facility at Luton to care for their passengers’ needs locally,” said md Tony Ellison.

“We appreciate the benefits of updating the kitchen but we also want to attend to the needs of the flight crews. In the new lounge, the crews will be able to menu plan with our chefs, sample catered meals, utilise locker space, and will have the opportunity to restock essentials such as alcohol, dry goods, galley supplies and linens.”
