Jordan Penning will work alongside group chair Nicola-Jane Sellers to lead the group and continue to develop its role, promoting The ACA's initiatives and facilitate engagement with young professionals.
Penning is keen to link up with schools and universities.

The Air Charter Association (The ACA) has appointed Jordan Penning as deputy chair of its Next Generation (NextGen) group.

The ACA's NextGen group was formed in October 2020 to showcase the industry's many varied, rewarding and challenging career opportunities, to support the development of the association's work on sustainability and innovation, to develop wider engagement with younger professionals within the membership and to act as ambassadors for the association.

Jordan will work alongside group chair Nicola-Jane Sellers to lead the group and continue to develop its role, promoting The ACA's initiatives and facilitate engagement with young professionals and prospective talent.

Penning, policy and public affairs executive, The Royal Aeronautical Society says: “Having been a member of The ACA's NextGen group for the past two years, I am delighted to take on this new role, and I look forward to working alongside Nicola-Jane, an experienced air charter professional with expertise in sustainability. I am anticipating an exciting year, promoting awareness on sustainability and securing a bright future for the charter industry.”

Passionate about aviation, he is eager to advise young people on the variety of opportunities available in the air charter industry. Moreover, he is keen to explore opportunities to enhance the NextGen's engagement with schools and universities.

The NextGen group also welcome new members Jessica Thunberg of Avinode; Karina Didenko from Victor; James Hymers of CharterSync and Ekaterina Andreeva from Chapman Freeborn. The ACA is confident that they will add value to the group and looks forward to their contributions in the year ahead. Other members of the group are Scott Butcher of Starflight Aviation; Brad Wright from Business Air News and Jordan Smith of SaxonAir.

Glenn Hogben, CEO of The Air Charter Association says: “Jordan has been an active member of the NextGen group over the past two years so it is fantastic to see him taking on the role of deputy chair. I am confident that he will do a great job, alongside chair Nicola-Jane Sellers, in driving the group and initiatives of The ACA forward.”
