Germany-based full-service business aviation service provider Atlas Air Service has handed over a Cessna Citation CJ1+ to a client from northern Germany, Krull-Gruppe owner Siegmar Krull.

As part of a brokerage agreement, Atlas Air took over the marketing of a business aircraft for long-standing customer Blissair CEO Franz-Hermann Enk. After successful brokerage and an intensive technical inspection, the Citation CJ1+ was handed over to its new owner in a small ceremony at its service centre in Bremen.

”In addition to a smooth correspondence, the Atlas Air Service sales team took care of all sales-related issues such as a needs analysis, advice on professional operating models and contractual modalities, thus providing optimal support for the purchase process,” says new owner Krull. “This purchase fulfils a long-cherished dream of owning a business jet.”

The Atlas sales team maintained a direct line to both clients and was always on hand to provide advice. Krull’s main requirement was to have a jet that was able to land on shorter runways, but that would also be able to travel across Europe. He also wanted to find a solution for aircraft management so as to create a business case for the purchase.

The aircraft will stay with Blissair, a Germany-based company that operates aircraft on behalf of the owners through its subsidiary ChallengeLine’s AOC. Charter will be the priority, but Krull will use it from time to time for personal and business flights.

Blissair had just the one CJ1+ but is going to build up again this year with the purchase of at least one other business jet.
