Alpha Star inks deals for air med King Air 360C and MRO
The King Air 360C is the newest addition to Alpha Star’s fleet, while the synergy between the operator and Lufthansa Technik should create a powerful alliance that benefits both parties and their customers.
Alpha Star is to purchase a cargo door-equipped King Air 360C air ambulance from Textron.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia-based operator Alpha Star Aviation Service entered into an agreement with Textron Aviation to purchase a cargo door-equipped Beechcraft King Air 360C aircraft in support of its air ambulance missions.

Alpha Star is one of the largest air ambulance operators in the Middle Eastern region and has been a long-time operator of Textron Aviation aircraft, providing comprehensive medical evacuation and transport services within Saudi Arabia and internationally.

Alpha Star’s current fleet includes two Hawker 900XP aircraft, and it recently purchased two Cessna Citation Latitude aircraft for ambulance and transport missions.

The operator also signed a new framework agreement with Hamburg, Germany-headquartered aircraft MRO specialist Lufthansa Technik that marks a significant milestone for both companies and sets the stage for a multitude of cooperation possibilities.

"By combining our strengths and resources we can achieve remarkable results and drive innovation in the field of VIP aviation. This collaboration aligns perfectly with our strategic objectives and we look forward to a fruitful partnership."
