Duncan Aviation grows its satellite network with Oregon
Customers located on the field and drop ins are welcome to visit Duncan Aviation in Suite A of the Charlie hangar at Aurora State airport, Oregon. Avionics crew lead Justin Weber and his team will be working full time.

Duncan Aviation has opened an additional fixed location in Aurora, Oregon that will operate under its Portland repair station certificate. With space in the Charlie hangar, conveniently located next to the Atlantic Aviation FBO, avionics crew lead Justin Weber will now serve Duncan Aviation's avionics customers at the Aurora State airport full time.

“Growth at the Aurora airport has been significant over the last decade, and our techs have spent a great deal of time on the road, commuting between our satellite here in Portland and Aurora,” says manager of the Portland satellite John Almeida. “With no other shop in the area doing avionics repairs, maintenance or testing, we're filling a niche by locating a full time technician there. There's a small but growing community, and we have many customers on the field who rely on us exclusively for their avionics work.”

Weber has spent years working with a Part 135 operator, and he has airframe experience. He's been at Duncan Aviation for three years now, and he'll be setting up the additional fixed location in Aurora.

“He's a quick learner, and we're confident he'll maintain Duncan Aviation's standard for excellence and expand our business down there,” says Almeida.

The company recently received FAA authorisation to add a workaway station at Nashville International airport in Tennessee.
