Bell offers schemes to cover training costs
Located in Fort Worth, Texas, Bell's global training facility offers pilot training, technical training and specialised training for more than 140,000 customers. It is working closely with the US Veteran's Affairs office.

Bell Textron's Bell Training Academy has expanded its flight school offerings that are approved by the US Veteran's Affairs office for reimbursement of pilot training. As a part of the VA's education and training assistance, veterans who meet the GI Bill's qualifications can apply for course reimbursement and potentially have all or a portion of their training costs covered at Bell's global premier flight training facility.

“As a company that employs nearly 1,500 veterans and provides leading aircraft and training solutions to the US military, Bell is proud to be named an approved training institution for this nation's veterans,” says Anna Taborsky, GM of global customer training at Bell. “The Bell Training Academy looks forward to offering several pilot training courses for active service members and veterans that are eligible for reimbursement through the VA GI Bill. This is another way that Bell continues to show support for active and former military.”

Since 1944, the GI Bill has helped qualifying veterans and their family members by providing reimbursement for all or some of the costs for school or training. Bell's approved courses that are currently available for the Bell 206, Bell 505, Bell 407 and Bell 429 models include, Pilot Initial Transition Course, Pilot Initial Night Vision Goggles (NVG), Pilot Refresher NVG, Flight Instructor NVG, Ground Course NVG, Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Rating Course, Bell 429 Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Rating Course (FFS) at Bell's Valencia, Spain facility, Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Rating Course and Initial and Refresher Training Courses.
