Vinci launches own brand quality standard
Committed to extending its business aviation expertise, Vinci Airports has introduced its own internal handling criteria to support its IS-BAH application.

Vinci Airports has reported strong traffic results for 2018 across its network of five French airports handling business aviation. Lyon-Bron, Toulon Hyeres, Chambery Savoie Mont Blanc, Grenoble Alpes Isere and Clermont-Ferrand Auvergne airports handled more than 22,000 aircraft movements, an overall growth of 14 per cent compared to 2017. Growth was particularly sharp at Lyon-Bron, with a 36 per cent increase over the previous year and the company is now preparing IS-BAH certification there. To this end it has launched an internal quality label 'Vinci Airports Executive Handling', whose aim is to create a common identity based on four shared values: attention to detail, flexibility, discretion and safety.

“This label guarantees our customers a uniformly high quality of services throughout our airports,” says French business aviation manager Iryna Tissot. “We created this label in 2018 with the objective of harmonising our operational processes, levelling our quality of services upwards, and ultimately ensuring our customers are equally satisfied no matter which airport in our network they use. The excellent results of the year reflect these efforts and our capacity to reinforce territories' attractiveness."

As a new challenge for 2019, Vinci Airports will launch its label in Lyon-Saint Exupery, the first experience of such a deployment at an international airport.

Vinci Airports manages the development and operation of 46 airports located in France, Portugal, the UK, Sweden, Serbia, Cambodia, Japan, the US, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Chile and Brazil. Served by around 250 airlines, it handled 240 million passengers across its network in 2018.

As a comprehensive integrator, Vinci Airports develops, finances, builds and operates airports, leveraging its investment capability, international network and know-how to optimise the management and performance of existing airport infrastructure, facility extensions and new-build construction projects. In 2018, annual revenue for managed activities amounted to more than US$4 billion, for consolidated revenue of $1.8 billion.
