Aerotec Pilot School, Spain's oldest ATO, has selected a range of Tecnam training aircraft to upgrade its flight training offering. The purchase agreement was signed during AERO Friedrichshafen 2019 and will consist of a long-term fleet renovation programme.

The first Tecnam aircraft, a P2006T Twin, will be delivered to the Madrid-based ATO in July, enabling Aerotec to provide complex multiengine training to pilot cadets. Choosing a Tecnam fleet solution was the result of an extensive and thorough evaluation by Aerotec Spain to ensure that it builds on its reputation for high training standards of quality and academic excellence.

The P2006T Twin is established as one of the world's most reputable twin engine training aircraft. It features fully retractable landing gear for complex flight training, enabling students to complete MEP training in a faster and more efficient manner.

With a range of 669 nm, a cruising speed of 150 kts and equipped with Garmin 1000 NXi, it is a well-suited multi-engine trainer.

Tecnam global sales and marketing director Walter Da Costa says: “We are very proud to be a partner in Aerotec's future and delighted to be a key part of it, delivering exceptional flight training standards.”
