Thuraya Telecommunications has launched Thuraya AERO, a satellite communication service that enables internet access, voice calls, text messaging and high speed data transmission onboard small to medium sized aircraft.

Pilatus is reporting a successful 2016 with sales revenues of 821 million Swiss francs (US $827.3 million). The company created 56 additional jobs and delivered 91 PC-12NGs to customers.

Following the Falcon 8X's recent approval to operate at London City airport, Dassault Aviation is now the only business jet manufacturer whose entire in-production fleet is certified to operate at LCY.

London Biggin Hill airport has extended its operating hours. It will now be operational from 0630 to 2300 Monday to Friday and 0800 to 2200 at weekends and bank holidays.

The Sapphire Pegasus Awards were presented during a gala dinner in Prague on 28 April. Pratt & Whitney Canada has produced its 100,000th engine. Today, P&WC has 60,000 in-service engines operated by 12,300 customers in more than 200 countries worldwide.

Duncan Aviation's London-based sales representative Tim Barber has secured its first for sale listing in Europe six weeks after joining the company, followed by a second within eight weeks.
