Embraer Executive Jets delivered 63 Phenom 300s in 2016, the highest volume of any business jet model for the year, according to the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA). The Phenom 300 has achieved this position for the fourth consecutive year and has completed 266 deliveries since 2013.

Textron Aviation is reporting a strong uptake for its Citation Latitude. According to the OEM, the jet has been delivered more times than any other aircraft in the midsize category since its introduction in August 2015.

Piper Aircraft has experienced a 26.7 per cent increase in aircraft billings for 2016 according to GAMA's Annual Industry Review. The growth was triggered in part by the entry into service of the M600 SET.

Gulfstream's second G600 has completed its first flight, spending four hours and 26 minutes in the air. The first flight test unit has already completed more than 150 flight hours.

PWI and Textron Aviation have signed an agreement to include the PWI's LED product lines in Textron's aftermarket product catalogue. The lines include PWI drop-in LED reading lights and King Air retrofit kits, which are LED upgrade kits for the cabin lighting.

Safran Nacelles has created an MRO centre of excellence at the company's Pont-Audemer facility in the Normandy region of France. The centre will manage Safran's global MRO network.

Aviation Fabricators (AvFab) has received EASA certification for the installation of its pleated window shades on all King Air 200, B200 and B200GT series aircraft.

Former Embraer CEO Marco Tulio Pellegrini has been named CEO of OGMA Industria Aeronautica de Portugal. He will succeed Rodrigo Almeida Rosa who will take over as CFO of Embraer Europe.

Textron Aviation has launched its technical publications platform 1View. The technology enables Beechcraft, Cessna and Hawker customers to access all maintenance manuals, flight documents and service information for their aircraft online.

FlightSafety International has promoted Nathalie Raby to assistant manager of the company's learning centre at Paris Le Bourget.
