Austria-based Europ Star and Russia's Insat-Aero have announced an extension of their co-operation. “We are excited to name Insat Aero as our official partner for Russia,” says Europ Star CEO Werner Welz. “Over the past five years we have developed a mutual feeling of respect and long may this continue.”

Europ Star is headquartered in Klagenfurt, while Insat-Aero is based in Moscow. The companies have collaborated in financing, operational management and charter flight organisation, as well as technical aircraft management.

“We are looking back at five successful years and expect many more,” states Insat-Aero CEO Dmitri Markov. “Europ Star has proven to be an extremely reliable and competent partner in the industry. Its unique customer-focused solutions as well as meticulous attention to detail have led to great results.

The organisation has earned our respect and our customers can continue to expect optimal ownership costs and high residual value for the assets they entrust us with.” The operators currently manage a fleet that includes Global Express, Challenger and Legacy types.

Adds Welz: “The best currency in aviation is trust. We work with Insat-Aero across a range of functions: it uses our AOC and we are provided with CAMO and flight operations, making us thoroughly integrated.”
