TAG Farnborough airport has joined the World Fuel Services FBO network. As part of the five-year agreement, WFS will supply TAG with bulk jet fuel and ongoing technical support.

“We are delighted to have appointed WFS after a competitive tender,” says TAG Farnborough airport CEO Brandon O'Reilly. “The WFS network and commitment to uncompromising quality of product and service were the key reasons for selecting our new partner.”

Farnborough airport is one of the oldest airfields in the UK, and hosted the country's first powered flight in 1908. It has radar approach facilities, is free of slot restrictions, and is a 12-minute helicopter ride from central London.

“TAG Farnborough is one of the most highly decorated and respected facilities in our industry, with a global reputation for excellence,” says VP commercial development for WFS Mark Amor. “We are delighted to be given the opportunity to serve this location with quality fuels, technical support services, and innovative sales and marketing solutions. We look forward to a longstanding and fruitful partnership.”

World Fuel Services Network FBOs cater to flight operators by offering contract fuel, and incentivise operators to use contract fuel or their Avcard by awarding enhanced FlyBuys rewards with every purchase.
