Biggin Hill, UK-based Catreus has taken delivery of the first Citation M2 in Europe to be available for charter. “We are delighted to add this versatile light jet to our charter fleet of Cessna Citations,” says md Cy Williams.

“We expect the Citation M2 to be popular for short trips in Europe, such as to the Mediterranean, for business and pleasure.”

The M2 can operate at airports with runways as short as 978 metres and can climb to 41,000 feet in 24 minutes. It has seating for up to five passengers and a range of 1,580 nm. It is also certified for single pilot operations with room for seven passengers.

The flight deck is equipped with Garmin G3000 avionics, with high resolution multifunction displays and split-screen capability. Touch screen interactivity comparable to a smartphone provides performance information in a familiar interface.

A dropped aisle provides a cabin height of 1.45 metres. Eight large windows and adjustable seats are highlights. As of the end of 2014, 58 M2s had been delivered to customers around the world, following June 2014 EASA certification.
