Tanzanair to add King Air 350 to the mix

October 15, 2012:

Tanzanair is in the process in buying outright a King Air 350, reports md John Samaras. This will join other Beechcraft models in the fleet which already comprises two King Air 200 and two Beech 1900D, along with two Reims F406 Caravan II and two Cessna 208B Caravans.

Established in 1969, the company operates flights for the mining companies, crew changes for oil and gas companies, medevac, aerial surveillance for anti-piracy and vip transport as well as providing flights to the bush, using unpaved airstrips for big game hunting clients.

Tanzanair also maintains some 65 aircraft, including all Cessna and Beechcraft piston and turboprop types, as well as managing and maintaining a Dash 8-300 on behalf of a large gold mining company in Tanzania.
