Norwich airport donates free landing fees and charges to the EAAA and allows movements outside of normal operating hours. Facilitating access in this way is a critical enabler of emergency response.

As a result of the increased operational hours, EAAA crews  have been able  to  cover a much wider area in  East Anglia  at night, helping more patients than was previously possible, averaging nearly three missions a night.

Updating the facility has been a long-term organisational goal for EAAA, enabling the charity to operate a 24/7 service by air and road for the first time. The new headquarters will help future-proof the organisation.
