Eurojet Italia expects a new maintenance facility, opening in Milan in Spring 2007 will help retain and attract staff in the 20th year of the company's operations.

Edoardo Rubino, chairman says: "We needed a new facility that could meet the increasing demand in this sector which has the capacity to house larger aircraft, such as the Global Express."

He predicts benefits on the staffing side. "The work environment influences the quality of work of our technical staff. Therefore, having enough space capacity for the new aircraft, and to meet the increased maintenance demand, will certainly result in improved service levels," he says.

The new facility extends over an area of 3,000 sq.m., of which 2,100 sq.m. are covered by the hangar and

900 sq.m. by the offices and warehouse. "There is sufficient hangar space to store the whole company's aircraft fleet based in Milan Linate," says Rubino.
