World Fuel Services (WFS) has won the tender for fuel supply and equipment at Cotswold airport in Gloucestershire, UK. WFS now provides both jet fuel and Avgas and will assist the airport in the development and support of purpose-built refuelling and storage equipment. The WFS Avcard is now accepted at the airport.

VP Mark Amor says: "Cotswold airport brings a unique offering to the aviation market in the UK and is home to some of the country's most popular flying schools, seeing many trainee pilots achieve their PPLs.

"As well as supporting the site's growth, our new relationship will also see us sponsoring the airport's aviation scholarship programme, which gives ten young people the chance to experience all aspects of a career in aviation. This is another great example of how we can craft unique, innovative solutions that positively impact an airport's long term future."

Airport manager Christian Ackroyd adds: "We are pleased to be welcoming World Fuel Services to the site and increasing the fuel and equipment we have on offer for our customers. WFS has a competitive offering and has developed a proposal that addresses the needs of our growing customer base."
