entrol's H39 simulator has been certified as FNPT II MCC by Italian civil aviation authority ENAC for Heli Protection Europe (HPE).

The simulator is based on the AW139, a helicopter widely used for SAR, EMS, offshore and law enforcement. The simulator's cockpit is a replica of a Honeywell Primus 1000 avionics deck and is equipped with dual FMS, WX-radar, ACAS II and a generic moving map. It has also been certified for LNAV, LNAV/VNAV and LPV.

Luis Olarte, entrol's CEO commented, “We are pleased that the H39 simulator has been certified and can now be officially used for training. It will allow AW139 operators to provide additional training like emergency procedures or SAR operation at a reasonable price.
