Centreline has signed a purchase agreement for a pre-owned Legacy 500. Once the aircraft has been delivered in August the UK company, which already operates two Legacy 500s, will become Europe's largest operator of the type.

"I am thrilled to grow our fleet with another Legacy 500; its interior design and very quiet cabin will wow customers," says flight ops manager James Pyne. "We always receive positive feedback from clients and the aircraft's astounding runway performance gets our passengers conveniently closer to their destinations."

CEO Tanya Raynes adds: "We are very proud of our heritage in finding the perfect aircraft that meets our customers' unique requirements and aligns to our brand values.

The Legacy 500 makes it easy to deliver an exceptional experience and its popularity sustains a good revenue stream for our aircraft owners." The Legacy 500 has a six-foot flat floor cabin and Centreline's model is configured with a divan and six club seats that can be turned into three lie-flat beds during flight. Added to this is a full service galley, private rear lavatory with vanity and wardrobe and a generous baggage compartment.

Embraer president and CEO Michael Amalfitano is delighted to support Centreline with another L500: "Beautifully designed and brilliantly engineered, the Legacy 500 delivers true value to operators and an unparalleled customer experience to its passengers."

There are 15 L500s currently in service across EMEA and more than 60 worldwide.
