CHC has entered into an agreement with Lease Corporation International (LCI) for an additional H175 helicopter. Scheduled for delivery in December 2018, the super medium type will support CHC's UK operations. It is the second helicopter of its type that LCI will place with CHC, after an initial H175 arrived in December 2017 and immediately entered service.

“LCI Helicopters is a valuable partner for us as we continue to introduce the H175 in the UK,” states president and CEO of CHC Karl Fessenden. “We are happy to enter a second lease for this aircraft type.”

The H175 is a 7.8 tonne, 16 passenger aircraft that specialises in supporting offshore oil and gas activities. Configured with Pratt & Whitney PT-6 engines and a Helionix avionics suite with four-axis autopilot, the aircraft is certified to the latest FAR/JAR 29 certifi-cation standards.

LCI's fleet includes rotorcraft manufactured by Leonardo, Airbus and Sikorsky. In addition to the H175s, CHC Helicopter UK flies an AS332L2, an AW139 and two H225LPs.
