Air BP has appointed Irene Lores as global general aviation sales and marketing manager, based in Madrid. She brings more than 17 years of relevant experience to the role from within Air BP and parent company BP.

StandardAero's European service centre in Tilburg, Netherlands, has received EASA and FAA certifications for Honeywell HTF7000 turbofan MRO services. The centre can perform all scheduled and unscheduled workscopes up to and including the 8,000 hour borescope inspections, including combustor liner changes.

The company secures slots and landing permits for inbound and outbound business aviation visitors, and arranges fuel and ground handling services, discounted hotel accommodation, in-flight catering, high quality concierge, transportation services and private security.

PrivateFly is one of Europe's fastest-growing businesses, according to a league table compiled by the Financial Times and Statista. The private charter booking platform was 265th in the FT1000, based on its revenue growth of 467 per cent between 2012 and 2015.
