ExecuJet's FBO in Brussels has passed the IS-BAH audit to mirror its other facilities in Zurich, Berlin and Lanseria. Handling and protocol manager An-Céline Claes says that there was a great deal of work to do but that the process has been completely worthwhile. “A lot of manuals had to be made, staff training had to be completed, and then we had the audit in the middle of January this year before finally getting the qualification in March,” she comments.

“I'm convinced that the three most important things about an FBO are service, service and service. This needs to be at a very high level, not only at the FBO reception but also in the crew and lounge facilities. It is about high standards on the ramp too, and IS-BAH is contributing to safety on the ramp. The audit is so demanding as to safety, and so adds value to our organisation.”

To become part of the ExecuJet brand, passing IS-BAH is highly recommended, and eventually all of its FBOs will go through IS-BAH; Dubai is currently undergoing the audit.

Claes says that the facility has continued to handle a high volume of traffic since the award. “We are pleased with how everything is going. Brussels is a very busy FBO; it is near to the NATO headquarters so that keeps us occupied. We are happy to be the ones that handle most of the official flights and governmental flights. We are working hard to get more services for customers and crews.”
