DC Aviation of Stuttgart, Germany, will celebrate its 15-year anniversary this year, having received its AOC from the German CAA in October 1999. The company is now the country's largest business jet operator and a leading operator in Europe. With branch operations in Dubai, Zurich, Malta and Moscow, its international presence continues to increase.

DC Aviation in its current form emerged in the year 2007 from DaimlerChrysler Aviation, a subsidiary of DaimlerChrysler AG, established in 1999. During its tenure, DC has gained extensive experience in the field of aircraft management, charter operations, consulting services and maintenance. Its fleet consists of eight XLS+, long distance jets such as the G550, and the large cabin ACJ319.

The company's growth strategy is now being focused on the Middle East through its FBO and maintenance centre at Al Maktoum International airport in Dubai. The facility includes a 5,700 sqm hangar that can accommodate up to four BBJ type aircraft, as well as two ultra long range jets. The 1,300 sqm exclusive lounge area is designed for local, regional, and international vvip customers and provides a high level of comfort and personal space, as well as shower areas and a large conference room.

In July 2007, DC Aviation says it became the first German business jet operator to be awarded the international IOSA certificate. Besides DC, only three other business jet operators are IOSA certified.
