Financier agrees to help resurrect F1 project
Farnborough Aircraft Corporation Limited (FACL) has appointed Andrew Taee as chairman and ceo to lead the company through the development and certification of the F1 aircraft. Afandi Darlington, director of design, said: “Andrew’s appointment gives this unique British project every chance of success. His vision for the project is realistic and deliverable. In recent weeks the company has received significant interest from potential customers and financial institutions, garnering further support for a project that will result in jobs for the UK aircraft industry and sales for this special aircraft all over the world.”

Farnborough Aircraft Corporation Limited (FACL) has appointed Andrew Taee as chairman and ceo to lead the company through the development and certification of the F1 aircraft.

Geoffrey Galley, FACL’s major shareholder said: “This appointment is essential to the realisation of the

F1 vision and demonstrates our clear commitment to delivering a commercial and profitable project. This £100 million project requires special skills and experience and the company is excited that Andrew Taee has accepted the invitation to lead the project.”

Taee is a corporate financier and entrepreneur, with over 25 years of professional and corporate management experience in both the UK and USA. He has been involved in the acquisition or financing of over 30 ventures, projects, corporate turnarounds and fundraisings, including the raising of capital for Seattle Coffee Company and its subsequent sale to Starbucks.

Taee is also chairman of Dial Corporate Finance (financial advisors to FACL), Stuart Aviation Limited

and is a founding shareholder and director of Grosvenor House Group plc.
